The photo itself doesn’t do justice to the way this work has transformed my fairly small living room. All of a sudden, the rich colours lit up the entire room. I marvel at it each time I come in; it fills me with a warm glow. It sits just along from my record decks, the place I lose myself, and the two complement each other perfectly. When I last saw Jill at an exhibition I tried to explain what I was drawn to in this painting: the urban feel, a touch of hip-hop, the strange beauty of the sometimes chaotic, diverse and broken nature of our society. The final products have excelled what I could have expected, there’s so much detail in them and she has obviously put so much effort in.

We adore the wonderful piece of art Jill created for us and would recommend her for any commission!

Our young daughter loved a Joan Miró print at her grandmother’s house and so we asked Jill to blend inspiration from this work into her own amazing style to create a playful painting for our daughter’s playroom… and we love the result!

Jill really took into account the dimensions, styles and colours of the room, and she checked in with us as the work progressed so we really felt a part of the commission.

We live in Canada but Jill was able to pack and arrange for international delivery, and the painting arrived in perfect condition.
